Terms of Service

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Flikwiz. You must also meet any higher minimum age required by the law where you live. Flikwiz does not currently perform age verification.

Your account

Provide accurate registration information, keep your login credentials confidential, and use only an account you are authorized to access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account is compromised. You may not impersonate another person or create an account to evade a block, suspension, or restriction.

What Flikwiz provides

Flikwiz helps people discover, track, review, organize, and discuss movies and TV shows. Recommendations, ratings, streaming availability, release information, and other catalog details are informational and may be incomplete, delayed, or unavailable in your region. Flikwiz is not a streaming service, ticket seller, or guarantee that a title is available.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit, such as reviews, comments, list titles and descriptions, messages, reports, and profile information. You are responsible for that content and must have the right to submit it.

You grant Flikwiz a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, and display your submitted content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and provide the Services according to your settings. This license ends when the content or account is deleted, except for limited backup, legal, security, or technical retention and copies made by other users outside Flikwiz.

Acceptable use

You may not use the Services to:

• harass, threaten, stalk, abuse, or discriminate against another person;
• post unlawful, hateful, sexually exploitative, fraudulent, or deliberately harmful content;
• spam users, manipulate likes or activity, or send unwanted repetitive messages;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your relationship with a person or organization;
• infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
• probe, bypass, or interfere with authentication, privacy controls, blocking, rate limits, or security;
• scrape, crawl, automate, reverse engineer, or overload the Services except as permitted by law or with written permission; or
• use Flikwiz to distribute malware, steal credentials, or collect information about others without authorization.

Social features, blocking, and reports

Reviews, comments, lists, likes, friendships, activity, and messages must follow these Terms. Privacy settings control the intended in-service audience, but recipients may copy content they can view. Blocking limits access and interaction but cannot erase copies already made. You may report profiles, reviews, or comments for review.

We may investigate reports and remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, or comply with law. We are not required to monitor every item of user content and cannot guarantee that all objectionable content will be removed immediately.

Flikwiz and third-party intellectual property

The Flikwiz name, branding, interface, software, and original service content are owned by Flikwiz or its licensors and may not be copied or used without permission. Movie and TV metadata, artwork, ratings, cast and crew information, trailer references, and provider information come from third parties and remain subject to their rights.

Third-party services and links

Flikwiz uses TMDB data and may link to YouTube, streaming providers, or other external services. Flikwiz is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. External services have their own terms, privacy practices, availability, and charges. We are not responsible for their content, transactions, or actions.

Service availability and changes

We may add, change, pause, or discontinue features and may perform maintenance without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability. We may establish reasonable limits to protect the Services. Keep your own copy of content you cannot afford to lose.

Account deactivation and termination

You may deactivate or permanently delete your account through Settings. Deactivation preserves data for later reactivation; deletion is intended to remove the account and user-owned Flikwiz data and cannot be undone. We may suspend or terminate access for a material or repeated violation of these Terms, security risk, abuse, or legal requirement.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free recommendations, or the accuracy or availability of third-party catalog, rating, release, or streaming-provider data. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Flikwiz will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, or losses caused by third-party services or other users. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. This provision does not limit any consumer protection rights that apply to you and cannot legally be waived.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Flikwiz evolves. We will update the date above and, when appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use after revised Terms take effect means you accept them; if you do not agree, stop using the Services and delete your account.
